Marilyn Rivas has managed St. Jerome Cemetery since 2012, assisting families and individuals in immediate and pre-need burial arrangements. Marilyn has lived and worked in the parish for more than 30 years. She began her tenure under Fr. Thomas O’Brien as parish secretary, hall
manager, and cemetery manager, and continued to work for Fr. John Flanagan
during his first few years as pastor. She has held several offices in both the ladies auxiliary (now the Altar Society) and C.Y.O., in which she was voted Archdiocesan C.Y.O. Woman of the Year. Marilyn has volunteered at past festivals and church socials. She has also helped design quilts for festival auctions and organized a team to sew the quilts. She is a member of the Saturday evening mass choir. Marilyn is honored to provide comfort and assistance to families and individuals during some of their most difficult moments.
