Hello, my name is Carrie Andrews. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and current owner/counselor at Grey Skies Counseling. I am blessed to be partnering with St Jerome Catholic Church.
When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience. I empower my clients, who include children, adults, couples and families, to overcome personal obstacles, find healthy perceptions of themselves, and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as a healthy and whole self.
I use clinically tested and evidence-based interventions such as person-centered/client-centered therapy and solution-focused therapy when working with clients. The treatment I choose is specifically tailored to each client based on their needs. I also have twenty years of experience working with crisis and trauma through my military and law enforcement careers.
My educational background includes an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University New England, including a certificate in Counseling Military Personnel and Families, and I have a B.A. in English from the University of the Incarnate Word.
