This is the time of year when the trees are becoming barren and stark and the wind is cold and unforgiving. Are there people in your community who are out in the cold?

What can you do to welcome the outsider, encourage the downtrodden or give shelter to the homeless in this bitter season?

Are there things you can do as an individual, a family or a church community to make a difference to people in your neighborhood or town?
