The Sacrament of Marriage
The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.

Engaged couples should make arrangements to meet with the Pastor at least six months or more in advance. Please contact the parish office to schedule an appointment to meet with the pastor. Please do not book your reception venue until after you have spoken with the Pastor.
If you and your fiance reside outside the territorial boundaries of St. Jerome or live in another diocese, please contact the office.

WEDDING READINGSPlease choose one Old Testament Reading and One New Testament Reading. The Psalm can either be recited or sung. When you meet with your music coordinator, you can ask that it be sung. The Gospel reading will be chosen by the priest presiding at the Mass.
